I appreciate you stopping by my new website!, I started my home business about 6 and a half years ago. More as a hobby than a business on purpose. As an added blessing, it has turned into a fun and rewarding job.
When I first discovered Ebay, my focus was on fitness. At that time I sold videos and exercise equipment. I am a Personal Trainer by profession and enjoyed the hunt for sporting goods.
Later I came across a Barbie Bazaar magazine featuring OOAK dolls. After looking into the market on Ebay, I thought I would give it a try. The first few attempts were comical. With each effort a little improvement and knowledge was gained. I like to balance my time between painting, sewing and drafting doll clothes patterns.
I have a terrific family. Two fun-loving sons and my incredibly supportive husband, Joel. Without their encouragement and support I would not have pursued the business to this level. They are the men behind the “Mini-Empire”.
Just a few years ago I would have laughed at the suggestion that I would spend my days playing with dolls and designing doll clothes. It is a true blessing to find something you love to do and make a living at it. There are so many facets to collecting and re-creating. The possibilities are endless. I look forward to what may unfold next.
